The couple had five children: Harriet (1833-1911), Albert (1839-1884), William H. (1845-1911), Charles (1847-1926), and Ann Rebecca (1850-1974). All lived to adulthood and married.

David and Nancy’s daughter, Ann Rebecca Fales, married George Wilde of Boston on April 27, 1871. She died on March 26, 1874 of a blood disorder, at the age of 24, shortly after the birth of a son, Albert C. Wilde. Ann Rebecca Fales Wilde was interred in Old Parish Cemetery.

David Fales died on November 24, 1889 in East Bridgewater of heart disease. His widow, Nancy L. Morse Fales, passed away on December 15, 1902 in East Bridgewater of pneumonia. They were both interred in the family lot.
