Alvin Ellis Fuller (1870-1871)
Allie Fuller (1874-1874)
Alvin Fuller was born in December of 1827 to Ellis Fuller and Lucy Gay Fuller. His grandmother was Eleanor Ellis Fuller. (all of whom are interred in lot 38 of Old Parish Cemetery).
On January 5, 1869, Alvin Fuller married Frances Catherine Covell who was born in 1845.
Alvin Fuller was a farmer. The family resided at 396 Pleasant Street.
The couple had three children, only one of whom grew to adulthood. Alvin Ellis Fuller was born on March 21, 1870 and died on December 3, 1871. A second child, Allie, was born on October 24, 1874 but died shortly thereafter. Both were interred in lot 38 of Old Parish Cemetery. The plot plan designates them as “A. Fuller’s children.”
The third child of Alvin and Frances Fuller was Jeannette “Jennie” Fuller. In 1905 she married Frederic J. Rea, a nurseryman who owned his own business in Norwood.
Alvin Fuller died on October 25, 1905 of pneumonia. He was interred at Highland Cemetery, lot 423. On June 9, 1906, the two children – Alvin E. and Allie – were removed from Old Parish and reinterred at Highland alongside their father. The name of only one of the two, Alvin E. Fuller, is engraved on the stone.
Alvin Fuller’s widow, Frances Covell Fuller, their daughter, Jennie, and Jennie’s husband are also interred at Highland.
